Microsclerotherapy does work. It works by a product being injected into the "spider veins" which irritates the veins. It then causes swelling inside the vein, which stops the blood flowing through. The body will then break this vein down and it will disappear.
No, we inject the product into the veins and that causes a temporary disappearance. The vein will then return, often looking red and irritated. This typically settles within 48 hours.
